Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Starvox Labs platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Starvox Labs provides an AI-powered voice agent platform (including VaniVoice) that enables businesses to automate inbound and outbound phone calls using natural language processing. The Service includes AI voice agents, call flow builders, analytics dashboards, and API integrations.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Admin approval is required for account activation.

4. Acceptable Use and Compliance

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
  • Make calls that violate TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) regulations.
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the AI agent to impersonate a human without proper disclosure.
  • Clone, synthesize, or use a voice you do not own or for which you lack explicit authorization.
  • Create deceptive impersonations, fraud, or unauthorized voice deepfakes.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawful basis and consent for calls, recordings, and personal data processing.
  • Obtain and maintain explicit consent where required for voice recording, voice cloning, and long-term voice storage.
  • Ensure scripts/flows are accurate and non-deceptive.
  • Use appropriate security controls for your user accounts and API keys.
  • Promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access or abuse.

6. Call Recording & Consent

When using Starvox Labs for outbound or inbound calls, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable call recording and privacy laws. You must ensure you have rights to use each voice and obtain explicit consent where required before recording calls, cloning voices, or enabling long-term voice data storage. The AI agent can provide disclosure prompts based on your configured flow settings.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, AI models, designs, and documentation, is owned by Starvox Labs Pvt. Ltd. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights. Custom conversation flows you create remain your property.

8. Data and Privacy

We process personal and operational data as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have rights and permissions to provide any data connected to the Service.

9. Service Level Agreement

We commit to 99.9% uptime for enterprise plan customers. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Service credits will be issued for any downtime exceeding the SLA threshold.

10. Billing, Payment, and Refunds

Fees are based on your selected plan and usage. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. Invoices are generated monthly and payment is due within 30 days. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy and, where applicable, enterprise contractual terms.

11. Suspension and Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.

12. Warranties Disclaimer

Except as expressly provided in writing, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. AI Output Disclaimer

AI-generated outputs (including transcripts, summaries, classifications, and recommendations) may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for human review, downstream decisions, and compliance outcomes resulting from your use of AI outputs.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starvox Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Starvox Labs from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, or breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website, dashboard notices, or account email.
